Off late, our generation has the habit of consuming the readily available food in super-markets, failing to realise that the “easy digestibility” of food is more important than “easy availability”. Taking this simple observation from everyday life, let’s recall what Chanakya said –

दीपो भक्षयते ध्वान्तं कज्जलं च प्रसूयते |
यदन्नं भक्षयेन्नित्यं जायते तादृशी प्रजा ||

A lamp eats darkness and produces black soot.
The Quality of food one consumes, so will one produce!

97% of families use milk on an everyday basis. This means either directly or indirectly milk is one of the staple human food regardless of the region of the earth one belongs to. With that research done, we at Vedic Amrit began to dig into the quality of milk. After months of research, testing and consulting with experienced professionals, we realised that –

Everything white, Is NOT milk!

We need to reiterate this to ourselves. Pure milk has a certain composition that makes it wholesome. And we have certainly not focussed on the quality of milk. Vedic Amrit is a handful of people(especially across India) trying to re-kindle awareness about the quality of milk one must drink. Milk has been considered as AMRIT in the Vedas. Although we still consider milk as amrit, we have forgotten the reason behind such a name leading to various health hazards that can be easily taken care of! It is called amrit because of its innate quality to cure diseases, improving health conditions, making bones strong and much more. So, we at Vedic Amrit have taken the responsibility of spreading awareness about the quality of milk that needs to be consumed.

What is MILK?

Welcome to a new and healthy life with Vedic Amrit i.e., A2 Milk. Let’s find out about cow’s milk a little more in detail. Cow’s milk physically contains 87% water and 13% dry substance. The dry substance is naturally mixed with water inside the cow’s body and is produced as milk. The principal constituents of milk are water, fats, proteins, lactose(milk sugar) and minerals(salts). Trace amounts of other substances such as pigments, enzymes, vitamins, phospholipids and gases. Milk is also full of other essential vitamins and minerals like A, B2,B6,B12,D,E,K and minerals like phosphorus, potassium, zinc and selenium. Therefore we understand that although milk is a complex mixture, it is a supremely combination of all sorts of micro and macro nutrients that the animal body requires.
